Portable storage, where to start
Our furniture and heavy boxes were offloaded by movers (we hired the same guys we hired in the packing phase) that day. We slowly unloaded the rest at our leisure, as we got settled in that week. The pods storage guys brought a truck and took the unit away when we finally emptied it. If you are not moving locally, the pods storage company also offers storage units in climate controlled warehouses until you are ready to receive your container. In the end, it was much cheaper and much more relaxing to use pods storage than a traditional moving company.
